Attended a party at kcroy's place on Friday night. Talked to someone named John about a video project on the SFraves scene. Did a lot of talking about what we all wanted to do as in what we really felt. There was a DJ setup there. Near the end of the party, two Japanese guys (brothers?) changed the setup to their own personal equipment. One of them, Shin(?), spun some jungle which was nice for me. I left around 4am.

On Saturday, I ordered Chinese food from a local place since I had gotten up very late due to the previous night's party. It was surprisingly good. Basically Saturday was just relaxing and playing a computer game a friend left on my hard drive.

Even though I went to bed at midnight, I did not wake up on Sunday until noon. I missed meeting Julie at 9:30am of course, but I felt terrific. Went to Japantown to pick up a CD single I had ordered. Books Kinokuniya had the Ranma 1/2 #38 which I had meant to buy for my brother's birthday. I purchased that as well as two books by Ryu Murakami, both related to Tokyo Decadence. The CD single is Suna No Kajitsu. I like the second track very much because the remix is done in a jungle style.

I did some work which I think will be completed tomorrow. While doing some research for it, I read in the newspaper that online grocery shopping is becoming more efficient, going directly to food and grocery distributors to cut costs rather than having shoppers go to a supermarket and get the items you ask for. Right now in this area, all we have is Peapod which is currently partnered with the Safeway chain of supermarkets. I wonder if they will someday go directly to the distributors too.

While on DruidMuck today, met someone who believes he was meant to be a neuter/female porcupine. After listening to him for two days I was not very convinced of this. He seemed too human to me, not really even trying to come across as a porcupine. Maybe I'll get a more porcupine vibe from him in the future.
